This honour celebrates leadership, innovation, and service, while strengthening academic goodwill, global collaboration, and inspiring future generations through exemplary role models.
Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Graduation with minimum five years of verified social service under a registered NGO.
Recognized school education with at least ten years of social service under a registered NGO.
Twenty or more years of impactful social service recognized by society or government bodies.

The Honorary Doctorate Degree recognizes individuals with strong academic backgrounds or long-standing social contributions, honoring excellence, leadership, and meaningful impact on society and public welfare.

Who approves and confers honorary degrees?
Honorary degrees are approved by the Senate and formally conferred at Convocation ceremonies.

Honorary Awards are among the University’s highest distinctions and are granted only to individuals of appropriate stature and merit. They acknowledge substantial achievements, leadership, or service that aligns with the University’s values and commitment to excellence, integrity, and social responsibility.

Approval and Selection Process
All Honorary Awards are approved by the University Council following a rigorous selection process. This includes defined eligibility criteria, detailed evaluation, and due diligence procedures such as risk assessment to safeguard the interests, integrity, and reputation of both the recipient and the University.

Discretion and Revocation Rights
To preserve the integrity of the Honorary Awards, the University Council retains full discretion to revoke an award if a recipient’s continued association may bring reputational risk or disrepute to the University, ensuring the honor remains credible and respected.

Confidential Nomination Process
All nominations for Honorary Awards are treated with strict confidentiality at every stage. Nominees must not be informed of, consulted about, or involved in the nomination process, ensuring fairness, objectivity, and the integrity of the University’s honorary recognition system.
